For this week’s music video recommendation I am bringing back a piece of art released in 2018, that deserves a lot more views than it has now. Let’s talk about SHINee‘s leader ONEW music video for his solo single ‘Blue’.
Starting off with the incredible song, vocals and orchestration, this single is already powerful on its own, but its music video takes it to the next level with beautiful visual effects and a breathtaking colour palette.
ONEW’s acting for this music video is emotional and expresses a lot with every single shot. His expressions are incredible and the sets enhance the feeling of this track. Him walking on the water and the purple/blue-ish sky with a shooting star passing by, is one of the prettiest things I have seen in a K-pop music video.
