For this week’s label deep dive we are going indie, and are diving into the story of the label Beautiful Noise.
Having its origins as a Hip-Hop crew, they were officially founded in 2018 by the rapper Mommy Son, Beautiful Noise is currently the house of indie artist Chanju, the rappers Choi Eun-seo, Gyun, Zior Park, and Sion.
From its beginnings this indie label has put a lot of focus on self-production, and many of their former and current artists are self produced.
Former and current artists of this label have teamed up a couple of times on singles. One of the first ones was ‘Noise’ including Zior Park and former label mates Wonstein and Kim Seung Min.
In 2020, Mommy Son released the special group single ‘Money Serenade’ with Wonstein and Kim Seung Min who were part of the label at that time, for the Mnet show ‘Good Girl’.
One of the latest releases as a team was the special project ‘Sleep Exhibition’, including singles by Zior Park, Sion Jung, Wonstein, Kim Seungmin, Chanju and Mommy Son.
