We’re back with a very special edition of Variety Taster, and this one is all about one of the most iconic K-dance shows taking things to the next level. We first launched this series with Street Woman Fighter 2, and now Mnet is going GLOBAL with World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF)—set to premiere in May 2025!
This season is going international, featuring six all-female dance crews from around the world, each representing their country in a fierce battle of choreography, charisma, and stage power.
Meet the Crews
🇰🇷 South Korea: BUMSUP
A true all-star powerhouse bringing together Season 1 leaders like Honey J, Lip J, Monika, Aiki, Rihey, Hyojin Choi, Gabee, Noze, and Leejung. Name a stronger lineup—we’ll wait.

🇦🇺 Australia: AG SQUAD
This crew features global legends including Kaea, Ruthybaby, Danica, Aaliyah, Vanessa, Alysha, Kyra, and Kaleece—many of whom were part of the Royal Family OG. They’ve danced for international megastars, so expect nothing less than top-tier.

🇺🇸 USA: MOTIV
A hip-hop-heavy crew including none other than Olympian and world champ Logistx, joined by Marlee, Kaidi, Abby, Nyssa, Bella, and Fantaye. Get ready for some seriously slick moves.

🇯🇵 Japan: OSAKA Ojo Gang
A brand-new crew we’re excited to get to know! It includes Ibuki, Minami, Uwa, Junna, Hana, Ruu, and Kyoka. Fun fact: Hana is TWICE’s Momo’s sister—adding some extra K-pop sparkle.

🇯🇵 Japan: RHTokyo
Led by SWF2’s very own Rena, with Rie Hata, Reina, Asuka, Mona, Riko Hirai, Ako, and Nina Nevas—this crew blends experience and innovation.

🇳🇿 New Zealand: Royal Family
Probably the most famous name in the lineup. This generation includes Teesha, Isla, Maiya, Harmz, Tiare, Zari, Moana, and Kylie. Expect jaw-dropping formations and major wow-factor.

First Mission: World of K-Pop
The first round of voting has already kicked off with the “World of K-Pop Mission”! Each crew had to create a mash-up performance using tracks from aespa (Armageddon, Drama, Whiplash), G-DRAGON (GOOD BOY, POWER, HOME SWEET HOME), and Jennie (Mantra, Like JENNIE, ExtraL).
Voting is based on likes and views on Mnet’s official YouTube channel—so go support your faves!
New Host in the House
This season will be hosted by Sung Han-bin, leader of ZEROBASEONE, stepping in as the new MC replacing Kang Daniel. With his background as a pro dancer, we’re excited to see how that influences his commentary and vibe with the crews.
Let us know in the comments:
