We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re taking a closer look at the jazz trio Mandong. Let’s dive in!
Debut
Mandong is a trio consisting of Ham Seokyoung (guitar), Seo Kyung-soo (drums) and Song Namhyeon. Originally it was only Ham and Seo. That was when they debuted in 2020, Song joined later on.
Their first release was the full-length album ‘Man in a hurry’. That was in August 2020.
Their second full-length album ‘BIG SUN’ was released in 2022, that is also when Song joined the group.
They also dropped the collaborative EP ‘The vibe is a chance’ together with Youra.
This year they have released the single album ‘Civilization’ and their third full-length album ‘The Bat’.
