For this week’s Indie Pick I wanted to introduce the relatively new-comer Kim Gyeol. Let’s take a closer look!
Debut
Kim Gyeol is an indie singer-songwriter who has created some beautiful indie folk pieces. She debuted in 2022 with her single album ‘A letter to the empty home’. Her vocal color is absolutely beautiful and she creates such an honest, small moment.
In March of this year she released her new single ‘A Creased Heart’.
Kim Gyeol came out with the new single ‘Why Would I’ in April.
Her most recent release came in the form of the single ‘I’. This is quite a shift from her previous releases and I love the quirkiness of it! The piano in this is lighthearted, playful and creates such a fun moment!
I have high hopes for her next releases. I’m very curious to see where Kim Gyeol takes her music.
