[Indie Pick] 92914

We’re back with our latest Indie Pick and this time we’re bringing the softest K R&B to the spotlight with our feature 92914.

This duo has been around since 2017 and they’ve had a steady release of soft beats with even softer vocals. The guitar is often a prominent player in their instrumentals and they display a great grasp on the ambient vibe.

92914 consists of the two members Lee Jun Ki and Kwon Ju Pyeong. In the description of their debut album they wrote: “I like music that fills my daily life. Now, without disturbing the flow of your thoughts, without obstructing the view, music to spend time with, I’m still behind you. Enough music when you’re back.”

I really enjoy that gentle description because it explains their gentle music so well.

Debut

Their 2017 debut mini-album is ‘Sunset’.

That year they also released the single ‘Moonlight’

‘Okinawa’ came out in 2018. This song remained in my playlist for years!

In 2019 92914 released the singles ‘Koh’, ‘9’ and the mini-album ‘Home’

‘Starlight’ and ‘Miss The Time’ were released in 2020.

Their latest comeback was in 2022 with the single ‘Runaway’.

Go follow them on their Instagram here and check out their full discography for some lovely vibes on Spotify here.
