Cacophony floats in a ‘Sea of Love’

Korean Indie singer-songwriter Cacophony released her new single ‘Sea of Love’ today. It’s her first solo work in a while. Though a couple of months ago, she worked on the Moonsomoon project which you can read about in our interview with Cacophony here.

‘Sea of Love’ is a beautiful single that captures the etherealness of Cacophony so well. I really enjoyed the flugel horn in the back. There’s one samply that was used that kind of reminds me of a fairground organ. Something they use at carnivals. It adds so much to the full listening experience.

The layering is so interesting and I can’t wait until the YouTube channel React to the K takes a look at this track. Cacophony wrote, composed and arranged the track herself.

We also have to talk about the music video because even though in essence, it’s quite simple. It’s the one set with Cacophony in a feather dress for the full music video. The way it is edited and with the exellent use of lighting they managed to make it feel like so much more.

Go ahead and check out this marvellous single ‘Sea of Love’ by Cacophony.

You can find the single on Spotify here.
