After 11 months and a very successful tour, the guys from MCND are back with new music. ‘SECRET MISSION Chapter.2‘ is their fourth mini album, and we know that since their debut this quintet under TOP Media, has not stopped amazing fans with their awesome style and even cooler music.
This new release is an extension of the concept they started off with their previous mini-album. Let’s dive into this release and check the music!
SECRET MISSION Chapter.2
‘W.AT.1‘ opens up this release with chants and harmonies. This single is very hip-hop driven, but there is a guitar riff throughout the track that adds a more angsty style. The high note in the bridge was fantastic and the fading super smooth.
Next up we get the title track ‘#MOOD‘, the mix of dance and hip-hop beats are awesome in this tracks, and the little sound effects added made it super fun to listen.
For the bridge we get an interesting change of tempo and a lovely contrast of vocals and rapping. All the mixes and flawless blending make this song a refreshing and very MCND style title track, and it is definitely a “MOOD”. For the music video, we get impressive and playful visual effects, and plenty of set changes that makes this video super fun and entertaining to watch. They all go off with a tight choreography that has a super flow to it, so enjoy and make sure to watch it below.
Powerful beats and hip-hop come along with ‘BLOW‘ and this single is nothing but SWAG. MCND’s rap-line absolutely kills it in this track, and the vocals do not stay behind with their power vocalisation. With fast changes of pace and rhythm this song can help you run faster than ever. It is definitely a very strong and impactful listen.

‘RED SUN‘ comes up next with trap inspired beats, once again MCND added their special touch with drastic beat changes and chanting. They really have a way to throw unexpected elements and awesome beat drops that are surprising but work great. This song is a total trip.
Marching band like trumpets and a lot of groove take over in ‘JUICE‘. This song just goes off with a very interesting mix that had me trying to figure out were it was heading to. It is definitely a very intense and attention grabbing listen that definitely goes hand in hand with the style and music colours they have shown since their debut.
This releases closes on a more calming and softer note with the ballad ‘Back to you‘. It is just what we needed after the trip the previous track took us in. The vocal line pops off and owns this single with power single and a lot of emotions. The piano melody was just charming, and this full single was just heart warming.
