ROSÉ makes her solo debut with ‘R’

After a bit of a wait, ROSÉ is here with her first single album ‘R‘. I have always loved her voice and I was looking forward to this debut. We previously wrote about how much we love her voice during her participation in ‘The King of Masked Singer‘, and at last, the wait is over. We are thrilled!

This single album includes the tracks ‘On The Ground‘ and ‘Gone‘, ROSÉ has writing credits for both singles.

The title track ‘On The Ground‘ gave me early 2000s teenage angst vibes and I am living for it. This single was a fantastic surprise, as expected she goes off with her stunning vocals. Overall this track is a total bop, that shows off ROSÉ music style and talent.

It really reminded me of ROSÉ’s early days with her guitar and the short covers we got in YouTube. The music video goes really well with the feeling of the track and delivers some stunning visuals of ROSÉ. Watch it below.

Gone‘ is the second track of this release, the guitar riff throughout this full track gives this song an organic flow that just gets better with ROSÉ’s singing. This single is lighthearted, and a wonderful easy listen.

Overall, ROSÉ’s debut single album was a beautiful listen, I just wish it was a bit longer. Both songs show a different side of her as a musician and I wish to see more of her solo music in the future.
