[Review] VVS – D.I.M.M

The girls from VVS are back with their mini-album ‘D.I.M.M’, we’re super curious so let’s take a closer look!

D.I.M.M

We start off with ‘FREE (intro)’. This is an emotional intro. It has a little jazzy piano line that I liked. This is giving me some 90s vibes. I liked it!

After that come the three tracks from their pre-release single album ‘TEA’ which we wrote about here.

After that comes ‘NEW PHONE (Interlude)’. This is a fun moment where the girls are showing off.

Next up is the title track ‘D.I.M.M’. The sample is super sick and I love it. The dark synth is fun and the verses went kinda hard. They included ‘NEW PHONE (Interlude)’ in the music video.

‘TOUCH IT’ is a fun rap track but I’m not a major fan of someone as young as Liwon being on such a provocative track even though she didn’t have a lot of lines.

The album closes off with ‘Shine (outro)’. We’re back with the beautiful piano line from the intro. I love the harmonies in this and the message.

Go ahead and listen to ‘D.I.M.M’ by VVS on Spotify here.
