Jaejoong is back with his new mini-album ‘Beauty in Chaos’. “This album delicately captures the fleeting light that blooms in imperfection, and the beauty of that moment.” Let’s take a closer look at this release.
Beauty in chaos
We start off with the track ‘In Chaos’. This is a rock track with an inspiring message about loving our own self. It has some really sick guitars and I like how oldschool rock this feels.
Next up is the title track ‘ROCK STAR’. We’re sticking with the rock theme and it’s so freaking good. “It delivers a passionate message that even the imperfect appearance hidden behind the mask is one’s true self, and that one can become ‘my own Rockstar’ that shines even brighter when with someone. ”
‘Miracle’ is a rock ballad and he’s really giving it his all for the vocals to deliver an emotional gutwrenching experience. Also loved the guitar shredding in the back.
Last VoW’ is “a promise to protect love until the end even in the darkness where light cannot reach, and a devotion that transcends existence. Against the background of a cold yet beautiful world, it expresses the power of love that does not even fear death with strong yet delicate emotions. ” It’s another solid rock track with insane instrumentals and I’m pretty sure Jaejoon ascended from the planet while doing the vocals for this track.
The closing track is ‘Goal In’. This was written by Kang Seung Yoon from WINNER. It’s a sexy and sensual pop track with a sick drum and bass. The chorus is kind of crazy, but I’m living for it.
