[Review] VICTON – Chaos

The boys from VICTON are back with their new mini-album ‘Chaos’. Let’s dive in to see what kind of treats they have in store for us.

Chaos

We start off with the title track ‘Stupid O’clock’. This track is so AWESOME. The subdrop with the whispered vocals, the sexy lyrics and Do Hanse’s rap verse, I don’t know which part is better. Everything works together to create an excellent title track.

‘Bonnie and Clyde’ follows that with a dance pop moment. It’s cute and has a nice build-up. The beat in the chorus is very addictive. It’s groovy and a total ear worm.

Next up is ‘INK’. We’re going dance R&B with this one. The rap verses are fire and the vocals are very rich. Honestly it’s a vibe.

‘Stay’ is Victon’s first summer track. Let’s go have a beach date with this dance pop track. It’s a lovely song that’s very easy listening and will lift your happy mood.

Following that is ‘In Love’. This rock ballad is a touching moment and really well done.

The closing track is ‘Dear, young‘. This track was written by member Kang Seung-sik. The ballad is rather heartbreaking and honestly, grab your tissues. The vocals are outstanding and beautiful.

Overall, ‘Chaos’ by VICTON is a fantastic mini-album. The tracks can all stand on their own and all carry their own weight. I’m going to be relistening to this album for a while.

Go ahead and listen to the mini here.
