[Review] Stray Kids – Christmas EveL

The boys from Stray Kids are back with their new minni-album ‘Christmas EveL’. This Christmas themed release is bound to be an international success story, so let’s dive right in!

Christmas EveL

We start off with the first title track ‘Christmas EveL’. When I tell you that I cackled when I watched this for the first time, I’m 100% not lying. It’s a hip hop track with hilarious lyrics and a crazy beat. The music video had me dead. I had to rewatch it a couple of times before I could write something about it. It’s a major vibe and I’m so happy that they absolutely delivered on this track.

After that we get the track ’24 to 25′. The members of Stray Kids want to be together with STAYS on the 24th and 25th of December, to celebrate Christmas together. It’s a wholesome ballad, with beautiful vocals. It feels like a cup of hot chocolate during this cold weather.

‘Winter Falls’ is the second title track. This is a rather heartbreaking ballad when you read the lyrics. The instrumentation has an interesting guitar riff that doesn’t immediately create a sad ambience. It’s an interesting dichotomy and it makes for a really cool listen.

The music video isn’t out yet, however we do know that there’s a music video coming as they released a teaser last week.

The last track is the English version of their single ‘DOMINO’ which was originally released in its Korean version on their 2021 album ‘NOEASY‘.

That’s it for this release of ‘Christmas EveL’ by Stray Kids. I’ve no doubt that their songs will be added to countless Christmas playlists. You can find the release on Spotify here.
