[Review] SAAY – FEELosophy

SAAY is back with her new EP ‘FEELosophy’. I’ve been super hyped about this one because she literally does not disappoint. Let’s dive in!

FEELosophy

We open up with ‘FANTASTIC’. This is such a smooth opening number. Her vocals immediately grab your attention and it doesn’t let go until the very last second. Such a vibe.

Next up is the title track ‘OMEGA’ that came accompanied by a brand new music video. Honestly that MV is trippy as hell, not gonna lie. The song is amazing! I love the little echoes and samples added to the backing track. It adds a lot of dynamicity.

‘A.M.A.F.’ is next and starts with a very playful instrumental. The rhythm in this is really cool. The way they play with silence is dope though I do wish they had continued this throughout the track.

After that we get ‘PLAYER’. This goes kinda hard. Her vocal runs are everything!! It shows what a vocal queen she is. I’m just in love with her confidence and I want to steal some. This single was pre-released last week.

Track number five is ‘HOLD ME UP’. It’s groovy and the bass in the back is so, so cool. This is sexy y’all.

Next up is ‘ALOHA’. I was a tad confused by the rhythm at first because it is hella fast. I wonder how this would sound slowed down. It is insanely catchy though.

We also get a remix of ‘A.M.A.F.’. JUSTTHIS has a rapverse on this one. It’s dope, I like it.

The EP closes with the last song ‘ARE & BE’. This is probably my favorite song of the EP. It’s slow, has some funky guitar and really cute samples. It encapsulates all of the best things about SAAY, and I dig it.
