The girls from Rescene are back with their new mini-album ‘Glow Up’. We’re super curious so let’s dive right in!
Glow up
We start off with the track ‘CRASH‘. This is a very cute pop track with sincere feelings. According to the album description they want to: “give listeners the courage to run towards what they love without fear.” I really enjoyed the solid synth beats and the beautiful vocals in this track. The chorus is also a total earworm. This feels like a really authentic K-pop track, I adore it.
Next up is the title track ‘Glow Up’. This is a dance pop track with their signature kitschy sound and it’s just a lot of fun! I really enjoyed this!
‘Going on’ comes along with a disco vibe and some great guitars. The track is bursting with positive energy and will put an instant smile on your face. The groove is undoubtable and you’ll be humming along in no time.
Next up is ‘In my lotion’. With the Jersey Club rhythm we’re hearing the story of regaining memories that are captured by scent. The guitars in the instrumentals are excellent and I really enjoyed the breeze flow of the full track.
The closing track is ‘Cotton Candy’. We’re going for soft R&B with a lot of funk to it. The Swedish band Dirty Loops participated in the drum and bass performances. This is a really cool and interesting track. It feels very fresh and is a personal stand-out.
