We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re introducing singer-songwriter Boran. Let’s take a closer look at her work!
Boran
Boran debuted with her own name: Yang Song E in 2014 when her track ‘Paradise’ was used as the opening for the popular show ‘We got married’.
That year she also released ‘Smiling Goodbye’.
It wasn’t until 2017 that she came back under the new stage name BORAN. She released the tracks ‘Fairytale’ and ‘Sandwich and a soda’ in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
In 2022 she also released ‘Bloom’.
2024 was a big year as she released three singles: ‘accident’, ‘rain’ and ‘Imperfection’.
Her own singles are already very impressive but some of her work as a lyricist and composer has been equally as impressive.
She’s worked for artists like Yukika, LOONA, Kep1er, CRAXY, 8turn and Say Yes! (from Boys’ Planet).
