[Review] Purple Kiss – HIDE & SEEK

RBW’s latest girl group Purple Kiss is back with their second mini-album ‘HIDE & SEEK’. They debuted last year and have already gained the attention of fans around the world with their music, vocals, rapping and flawless style.

This time they are back with the mini-album ‘HIDE & SEEK‘. For this release the members were involved in the lyrics and composition. They are definitely all rounders, so, let’s check the music for this release.

HIDE & SEEK

The title track ‘Zombie‘ kicks off this EP with a funky sound and a very catchy melody. This track is super dynamic and has no chill, the members go off with their rapping and singing, making it super fun to listen to.

The styling in the music video is fantastic and the members look cool and adorable at the same time. The facial expressions and the arm gestures were neatly choreographed. Watch it below.

With an old school vibe we get the single ‘2am‘, this song has some breathtaking vocals and a feel that reminded me a lot of 90’s R&B bands. Get ready to go deep into your feelings when listening to this track.

A mix of trap and an up-beat vibe comes along with ‘Cast pearls before swine‘. This song is a very fun listen and the rap line killed it delivering their verses.

So WhY‘ plays next, and the mix of EDM and the funky guitar in this track made it a chill listen you will jam to when listening to it. I really enjoyed its composition and how well balanced the vocals were in this single.

Party anthem vibes come along with ‘Twinkle‘ and this song is electronic music festival material. It goes off and I can totally visualize a big crowd jumping and jamming to it.

Lo-fi takes over to close this EP in ‘ZzZz‘. This track is all about chilling and enjoying throughly the vocals of PURPLE KISS. The perfect way to close this well-rounded release.
