The boys from NEXZ are back with their new mini-album ‘Beat-Boxer’. We’re super curious so let’s take a closer look!
Beat-Boxer
We start off with ‘Legacy’ which has a super sick beat to it. I really enjoyed the layering. I like this line from the album introduction: “It captures the tension and determination of embarking on an adventure into a raging storm, with unpredictable consequences, clearly revealing NEXZ’s future path and clear aspirations.”
After that comes the title track ‘Beat-Boxer’. This takes us back to the early 2000s with the combination of dance and hip-hop. It’s a lot of fun and is an instant earworm.
Next up is the pre-released ‘I’m Him’.
‘Co-Star’ is a slower track which really lets the vocals shine and creates a harmonious team energy that makes you feel hopeful for the future and somehow nostalgic at the same time.
The closing track is ‘Next to me’. This is a song co-written by all the members for the fandom. Tomoya and Haru even participated in the composition.
