[Review] Kep1er – TROUBLESHOOTER

The girls from Kep1er are back with their new EP ‘TROUBLESHOOTER’. Let’s take a closer look!

TROUBLESHOOTER

We start off with the title track ‘We Fresh‘. This single is DOPE! I love the vibe and the power. The girls are transformed into powerful heroes and it reflects in the MV and the lyrics. I really enjoyed their vocal tones and the powerful beat.

I loved it, but I would have loved it even more if the line division had been a bit more fair.

‘Lion Tamer’ is up next. This dance pop track has a lot of energy and a cool bounce to the instrumentals. I dig it. It’s a cool track and that bass is just something else!

Following that is ‘Downtown’. This is a mid-tempo pop track with a rap moment for all the members. The chorus is catchy as hell and has really impressive vocals.

After that comes ‘Dreams’. We’re going dreamy pop for this one. I like the distortion on the instrumentals, the hazy vibe really fits the ‘dream’ theme. The vocals are just exquisite.

The closing track was the pre-released ‘THE GIRLS (can’t turn me down)’ from their time on ‘Queendom’ season 2.

Overall, ‘TROUBLESHOOTER’ by Kep1er is a very solid mini-album with a very cohesive sound. Go ahead and listen to it here on Spotify.
