VICTON’s Han Seung Woo just dropped his first solo mini-album ‘Fame’. This multi talented idol never ceases to surprise us with his talent, the former X1 leader was part of the OST for ‘HYENA’ and now he is back with this very promising solo EP. Let’s check it out.
Fame
This EP starts with ‘Fever’, a R&B inspired track showing off Seung Woo’s mellow and very rich voice. The tempo and flow of this song feels almost seductive with some whispery vocals that will have you wanting to groove to this song.
The title track of this mini-album ‘Sacrifice’ has a more pop inspired sound including some EDM, I can totally see why this song was chosen as the title track, it is impactful. The music video leaves a strong impression with incredible visuals and dancing that will leave more than one person speechless. Check it below.
‘Reply’ lightens the mood with bright vocals and a very playful tempo. This track was definitely an amazing contrast when compared with the previous track, it is lighthearted and shows a different side of Seung Woo.
Starting off with a groovy R&B flow is ‘I Just want love’, the vocals, layering and mixing of this song is fantastic, from start to finish this song is a masterpiece, and my favourite one of this release.
In a change of mood and tempo we have ‘forest’, this song is 100% soft with rich vocals, Han Seung Woo’s voice is just incredible in this song. The falsetto is smooth, emotional and goosebumps are guaranteed when you listen to this track.
Closing this EP we have ‘Child’, this song feels like the indie addition of this release and I’m here for it. With a very rich acoustic sound, an electric guitar leading the track and a beat drop that changes the game and includes other instruments, this track is the cherry on top in this release, and really brings a full closure to an amazing release.
Han Seung Woo’s first mini-album was exquisite from start to end, and I cannot wait to hear more of his music. In the meanwhile, listen to this release below.
