[Review] EVERGLOW – -77.82X-78.29

The girls from EVERGLOW are back with their new mini-album ‘-77.82X-78.29’. We’ve been waiting for this one! Let’s dive in!

-77.82X-78.29

We start off with the title track ‘LA DI DA’ which is a synthpop with some retro vibes. I am in LOVE with their outfits and the general ‘Sin City’ vibes throughout the music video. The vocals and rap section are mind blowing and this is top quality!

After that we get ‘UNTOUCHABLE’. We’re staying with the 80s retro sounds though this one feels a tad softer than ‘LA DI DA’. The vocals are outstanding and the chorus is catchy as hell.

‘GxxD BOY’ comes after that and we get some deep, heavy bass. What a change of sound, but I’m digging it. The soft rap took me places, though I wish they had switched it up with the vocal section a bit more.

The last track on the mini-album is ‘NO GOOD REASON’. This is the softest song on the mini. This mid-tempo pop ballad really put the spotlight on their fantastic vocals. I really dig the harmonization, but I wish it packed more of a punch.

Overall, ‘-77.82X-78.29’ is quite a solid mini-album by EVERGLOW. You can find the mini on Spotify here.
