[Review] ENHYPEN – THE SIN: BLISS

The boys from ENHYPEN are back with their latest EP ‘THE SIN: BLISS’. Let’s take a closer look!

We start the album off with the track ‘Two Fools’ which is a country pop-rock moment. I enjoyed the chorus a lot, as it is one of those choruses that beg you to sing along to. I can imagine that this must be amazing on tour.

Next up is ‘Stuck’ which brings in the alternative hip-hop with its synths, intense beats and ENHYPEN’s signature dark concept.

‘Bad For You’, according to the album description: “weaves the growing conflict and tender longing between lovers amid ongoing escape into an emotional pop ballad. The subtle shifts in emotional nuance stand out, showing how the anxiety is hidden to avoid worrying the other person, only to deepen the sense of hurt instead.” It’s a solid track with great vocals and a lovely progression and with it’s 3 minutes and 15 seconds it is also the longest track of the album.

Next up is the title track ‘Bloody Paradise’. This is a Brazilian punk dance track that has an intense rhythm and explosive energy.

We’re going for industrial techno with ‘Checkmate’. This makes the comparison of checkmate and a full frontal attack and refusal to give up.

The closing track of this album is ‘Highlight’. We’re going oldschool hip-hop with the message: ” to forever remember even the anxieties and wounds overcome together as ‘our brilliant highlight.'”
