[Review] ENHYPEN – ORANGE BLOOD

The boys from ENHYPEN are back with their new mini-album ‘ORANGE BLOOD’. We’re super curious so let’s dive right in!

ORANGE BLOOD

We start off with the intro ‘Mortal’. This pop and R&B blend narrates their entry to this new world. We get to hear it in Korean, English and Japanese. It’s a cool moment and totally feels like ASMR.

The title track ‘Sweet Venom’ is one groovy track! This funky track is destined to be a total earworm for the rest of the month. I’m also getting heavy Michael Jackson vibes. The falsetto in the chorus is so DOPE. Jay participated in writing the lyrics.

Check out the music video below.

‘Still Monster’ is a pop ballad with a cool chorus and sweet vocals. The bass is really going places and I like the progression of the track.

Next up is ‘Blind’. This is an alternative R&B track with a really cool build-up. The beat in the chorus is really cool. ‘Blind’ is about an intense obsession.

‘Orange Flower (You complete me)’ follows that with some really cool guitars. This track is just really lovely and sweet and has the boys singing about exchanging flowers. Utterly adorable.

After that comes both the English version and the version with the Bella Poarch feature of ‘Sweet Venom’.

Overall ‘Orange Blood’ by ENHYPEN was a fun listen. You can check it out here.
