[Review] CRAVITY – EVERSHINE

The boys from CRAVITY are back with their latest mini-album ‘EVERSHINE’. Let’s take a closer look!

EVERSHINE

We start off with the track ‘C’est la vie‘. This is a fun track with an 808 bass and rhythmic bass. I’m really digging the groove of this! It’s a great opener that sets the tone and immediately grabs your attention.

After that comes the title track ‘Love or Die’. The pace of this track is kind of wild. It’s going really fast and carries this intense energy throughout the full song. I’m totally enjoying the ANGST. It’s a shame though that the shortest track of the full mini is the title track.

‘Cherry Blossom’ is up next. According to the album description the song “has a bright and cheerful melody vocals on groovy and funky bass and drums.” It really hit the nail on the head and I thoroughly enjoyed the vocal harmonies and the adlibs. What a lovely song!

After that we get ‘Mr.’ which brings a completely new vibe to the album. We’re going to an EDM party with this one. This retro 2000s club banger is a bop and will have you dancing along in no time!

‘Worst Thriller’ comes along with a whistle opening and a very languid feel. This psychedelic rock moment is awesome!

The closing track of the mini is ‘Over & Over’. This is cute pop rock with a refreshing feel to it. I liked the sound of the track a lot!

Overall ‘EVERSHINE’ by CRAVITY is a really solid mini with a lot of variety of sounds while still feeling congruous.
