[Review] Cherry Bullet – Cherry Wish

The girls from Cherry Bullet are back with their EP ‘Cherry Wish’. Let’s dive right in to discover new music.

Cherry Wish

We start off with the title track ‘Love in space’. This title track is super cool! I love the hyper pop synth sound. The BPM is really quite fast so it’s a total hype song. The vocals are absolutely lovely. The make-up looks are on another level. The eye looks are stunning!

‘Broken’ follows that. This pop dance track has a really cool riff in the back. The vocals are lovely. I love it when we hear the lower registers. I’m actually super curious to hear a more acoustic version of this.

Next up is ‘Hiccups’. The way that I did a double take when I first started listening to this track is insane. The 1950s influences, the harmonizing, the ‘doo-dap’ moments. I am absolutely in LOVE. This is such a fresh take, I’m obsessed.

‘KKa KKa’ brings the funky groove back. We’re dancing and grooving and shaking our bodies while listening to this. What a vibe.

The closing track is ‘My Boo’. We get an 808 beat, some trippy synths and a very unexpected transition. What an interesting listening experience. I love the bouncy vocals with the ‘Hey You’ lyric.

Overall ‘Cherry Wish’ by Cherry Bullet is a fantastic mini album that really houses a variety of genres and styles. I’m super into it.
