[Review] BDC – THE INTERSECTION: CONTACT

The boys from BDC are back with their new EP ‘THE INTERSECTION: CONTACT’. This is the third part of their ‘intersection’ series. If you’d like to read our review for the first and second part, you can click here.

THE INTERSECTION: CONTACT

We start off with the track ‘MYSTERY CIRCLE’. We’re getting a Hip-Hop inspired track with a really interesting build-up. It’s a really smooth listen and we get some lovely vocals in the bridge.

The title track ‘MOONLIGHT’ is next. We’re going 80s Euro pop with a lot of synths and a catchy hook. It’s fun and a bop. The music video is aesthetically pleasing and I’m in love with their hair and the pastel suits.

After that we get ‘MIRAGE’ which is a summer electro pop bop. I wish they had given the instrumentation an extra bit of ‘oompf’. Leader Sihun has writing credits on this one.

‘LOVE, TRUST & DESTINY’ follows that with a lovely ballad feel. It’s a song for the fans, where the boys state that any space can be a safe space if there’s love and trust. It’s wholesome and super soft. The vocals are next level! There’s some insane belting going on.

The last track on the mini-album is the instrumental version of ‘MOONLIGHT’.
