ATEEZ is back with their twelfth mini-album ‘Golden Hour Part 3.’ We’re super stoked because ATEEZ has been consistently dropping amazing music. Let’s take a closer look!
Golden Hour Part 3
We start off with the title track ‘Lemon Drop’. They’re bringing the refreshments with this one. We’re going for a sizzling hot music video. I love Mingi’s low vocals and the switch-up with the rap verses. The vocals are great and the hook in the chorus is a lot of fun.
‘Masterpiece’ starts with harmonization and what a fun opening. I loved the ‘yeah’ at the twenty second mark! This is a smooth R&B track with some funk thrown in. The retro synths are great and I really enjoyed the vocal line in this.
Next up is ‘Now this house ain’t a home’. In this hip-hop track they’re looking for their home, which makes sense if you consider they’ve finally finished touring after 14 months. It’s a solid track with a cool progression. Honestly you have to read the lyrics to this track. It’s beautiful.
That piece of me that never left
Has much to see, to not regret
What you're to be don't have to be
You never know what's around the bend
Mothers to daughters
Who turn sons into fathers
In time, we all get taller
While sometimes feeling smaller
source.
‘Castle’ is a pop dance track with a catchy hook and a heartfelt story that: “Pain is given by the world, but healing happens between you and me.” Jongho is a standout!
We close off the EP with ‘Bridge: The Edge of Reality’. This is an outro where we’re getting a very EDM closing moment.
