[Review] AleXa – DECOHERENCE

AleXa is back with her new EP ‘DECOHERENCE’, let’s dive straight in!

DECOHERENCE

We open the EP with the pre-released track ‘VILLAIN’. We wrote about that release here.

After that we get ‘Burn Out’. This bomb track really grabs your attention. I dig the way AleXa’s vocals have a tad of reverb in some places. It’s a really cool song. Also that bridge is DOPE.

Next up is the title track ‘Revolution’. As always the music video production is top notch and I literally need to go sit down to watch all of her videos in a row so I can understand the plot. The track has some really fun instrumentation and some reggae influences. AleXa’s rap had me shook for a bit.

The song ‘Moon and Back’ is the ballad I was waiting for. Her vocals take the well-deserved stage and it’s a lovely space after the previous hype tracks.

After that we get both the English and instrumental version of ‘Revolution’. We also get the instrumental of ‘Villain’

Go ahead and listen to the EP here.
