We are back with a brand new rapper in the spotlight and this time we want to talk about the career of a very young talent that keeps surprising us with every single release. Let’s talk about TRADE L.
H1GHR MUSIC
Lee Seunghoon (aka. TRADE L) was scouted by none other than Jay Park, well-known for his music career and work with the label AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC. He was signed at the age of sixteen and became the youngest member of the H1GHR MUSIC crew.
After joining H1GHR MUSIC, his first release as part of the label was in the compilation albums ‘Red Tape’ and ‘Blue Tape’. Here are a few of our favourite tracks of these two releases including TRADE L.
High School Rapper 4
In 2021, Seunghoon embarked into the adventure that ‘High School Rapper’ is, this well-known program has been a platform for many young underground rappers. He decided to take on the challenge and participate to show his talent.
In the fourth season of this survival show, he faced strong contestants including rappers D.Ark, YLN Foreing, among others.
He gathered a lot of expectations from other competitors as he was already known for being signed under H1GHR MUSIC, however in his first stage in the show, he rapped about being a normal high school student and his concern of being good at rapping. Check the clip below.
From his participation in this show, he left many memorable stages and became the winner of the season. Check a few of his stages below.
Debut EP
TRADE L’s official debut was in 2021. ‘Time Table – The Trip’ was his first solo release and included not just incredible features but also solid hip-hop and R&B tracks.
