After a little break, our monthly Korean Hip-Hop and R&B DisKovery is back! For this comeback edition, we have quite a few gems that deserve a lot more hype. Let’s dive right in!
August started with Renee, who has been active since 2022, and her latest album, ‘LUST’, was the one that totally captured our attention. Her R&B/Hip-Hop sound and effortless flow make her music a total smooth ride, so make sure to dive into her music here.
Heon Seo was another new gem we discovered. He debuted back in 2021, and his vocals are absolutely breathtaking. He has released quite a few OSTs, and his music delivers total smooth R&B vibes, so make sure to dive into his releases here.
Closing out this month, we have the criminally underplayed-on-Spotify Garion. This duo has had a lengthy career, and their sophisticated old-school hip-hop sound totally shines in their latest album, ‘Garion 4’. Their music is fantastic, so make sure to check them out here.
