The boys from NTX are back with their long-awaited single album ‘Latecomer’. This release comes after a year and a half since their previous EP ‘FULL OF LOVESCAPES’.
Latecomer
The single album contains the two singles ‘Old School’ and ‘Vintage Girl’.
‘Old School‘ is the title track and was written, composed and arranged by member Rawhyun. This is, as the title suggests, a major throwback to early 90s pop. It has a hip-hop based sound filled to the brim with retro samples. I love how they go from a rap verse to the cutest 90s pop ballad verse. It’s amazing!
The second track is ‘Vintage Girl’. This is a very synthy pop track about someone who likes vintage more than contemporary glamour. Rawhyun also was in charge of the creation of the track. The track is a lot more toned down than ‘Old School’ and it makes for a very nice balance.
