Dream Perfect Regime is one of the most creative and incredible independent labels I have seen in the Korean R&B and Hip-Hop scene. They never disappoint with their music or productions and today’s music video recommendation by visual director and now singer DPR IAN is not the exception.
Ever since ‘DPR Archives’ was released I was quite intrigued with IAN’s vocal and music style, and with the song ‘So Beautiful’ he just proved that he is not just an amazing creative director but also a great musician.
‘So Beautiful’ is a breathtaking music video, IAN’s acting skills left me absolutely shook, and the spooky vibes of some scenes were extremely interesting and super artistic. DPR’s visuals aren’t a joke. Their team truly thinks about every single detail in their productions.
The scene that impacted me the most were the ones indoors, the black and white contrast with the rain was super interesting and just fit the vibe of this track. It was sexy, spooky, and truly showed the inner conflict he was enacting. In a nutshell ‘Art’.
