Mijoo debuted today with her first solo single ‘Movie Star’. Mijoo had her start in the girl group Lovelyz that disbanded in 2021.
‘Movie Star’ is a fun, playful pop track. I liked the retro feel to the instrumentation and the warped music box sound. Mijoo’s vocals never disappoint, so it was great to hear her voice again. I really enjoyed the bridge with the very plucky strings.

The second single on the single album is ‘Miss You’. This is a stunning ballad that is giving me all the fairytale vibes. It’s absolutely lovely!
