We’re back with a new Label Deep Dive, this time we’re taking a look at Konnect Entertainment.
Beginning
Konnect Entertainment is a Korean record label that was founded in 2019 by none other than Kang Daniel who swept the industry off its feet during his participation in the boy group Wanna One. After a very successful couple of years, he decided to go solo and start his own record label.
At the very beginning Kang Daniel was the only artist under the label, however that changed when frequent collaborator Chancellor joined him in 2021. Former GFRIEND member Yuju also signed under the company in 2021 after the group disbanded.
Konnect Entertainment also has an agreement with CL’s company Very Cherry where Konnect will manage the domestic activities for CL.
I’m very intrigued by Kang Daniel’s record label. I think the label has a very high success rate due to the incredibly talented people signed to it.
We’re sure to expect a lot more incredible releases.
