Kid Milli and Dress joined forces for the release of the album ‘Cliché‘. With 12 tracks, this release is a total musical trip for listeners.
Swinging in and out between Hip-Hop beats, smooth R&B and even rock, this release offers a unique experience in each tracks. Dress produced and created some beats and musical arrangements that are modern, unexpected and exquisite.

‘V I S I O N 2021‘ featuring ron begins this release and it is a trippy track that set the vibe this release is going for, alternative and unique. ‘Bittersweet‘ featuring ron brings trap and synth, to then transition into ‘Challenge‘ were house music meets hip-hop.
This release also brings some chill vibes in the slow paced track ‘Blow‘, and goes alternative indie at the same time in ‘Citrus‘. The drum riff with Kid Milli’s rap delivery is something else in the latter one.
Alternative beats and musical arrangements at its best show up in ‘Leave My Studio’ featuring the glorious vocals of Sunwoo Jung A.
R&B meets hip-hop and blends smoothly in ‘Face and Mask‘ and in the title track ‘Midnight Blue‘ featuring In the endless zanhyang we are, These two songs are a must listen in this release. Check the music video for ‘Midnight Blue’ below.
We go underground with ‘Intro‘ and ‘Cliché‘, and I am living for the lo-fi beats inclusion in these tracks. It made them super organic and fluid.
The release gets even more experimental with the track ‘Bankroll‘ featuring Okasian, the electric guitar riff made this song a very unique listen. Lastly in this album is ‘Outro‘ and this track blew me away with its instrumental richness and beauty of the piano and cello orchestration. *Chef’s Kiss!*
Kid Milli and Dress did a marvelous job with this album, it is definitely one of a kind and it is its uniqueness what makes it so special. This album has a special narrative that follows this track order: 08-06-07-03-02-10-01-09-04-11-12-05-13-14, but the last two are only available in the CD version.
