We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re introducing Hongja. Let’s dive right in!
Hongja
Hongja (Park Jimin) is a trot and ballad singer who debuted in 2012 with ‘Why can’t you say anything/crybaby’. It took a minute but I did find the full album on Spotify, you can check that out here.
In 2018 she came back with the EP ‘Come back Hongja’.
The year after she released her second album ‘내:딛다’.
The album was released after her participation on ‘Miss Trot’ which she was popular on and finished third.
Her next EP came in the shape of ‘Glass’ in 2021.
She also released the single ‘In the mood for love’.
Last year she released the single ‘Connori’ featuring Yoon Jong Shin. This is literally such a catchy, soft track. I love it!
Her most recent comeback was this week with the release of her new EP ‘Parapiripo’.
