Super Junior’s EUNHYUK released his first solo release since his debut, ‘be‘ starts off his solo career with the singles ‘be‘ and ‘Red Muhly‘.
The title track ‘be‘ left me speechless. EUNHYUK has a completely different vibe and style in this single. It feels a lot more mature and the sound is smooth and chill, very different from his previous releases in SUJU and even D&E.
The falsettos and vocals in this song had me very surprised, I think I was a lot more familiar with him as a rapper rather than a vocalist, and it was a lovely surprise.
For the music video we get a lovely dance routine that follows a more contemporary style with a touch of hip-hop, and it is a fantastic combo to watch. He did a superb job with the visuals and concept of this MV. Watch it below.
Synth takes over in the second track ‘Red Muhly’ and this song its a vibe on its own. The R&B style of the track goes super well with his vocals and style. I really loved the sound and feel in it. The song was co-composed by Colde and Khakki, and we know that these two are incredible composers.
This single album surprised me and felt too short. I loved what EUNHYUK did with this self-written release, it was cool, trendy and it sounds fantastic. You can listen to this release here.
