[Review] CNBLUE – WANTED

CNBLUE is back with their new mini-album ‘WANTED’. Let’s dive right in!

WANTED

We open with the title track ‘Love Cut’. This Western style single is super fun to listen to. The piano creates a very cool effect and the whistle is implemented super well! It’s a vibe, I dig it.

Next up is ‘99%’. With a cool guitar riff, we get a message about loving ourself in such a fierce, competitive society. It’s a song full of swagger and feels a bit like an anthem.

‘Hold Me Back’ takes a slower pace. This mid-tempo R&B track with some funk thrown in, will have you swaying to the sound in no time. It’s absolutely lovely.

Track 4 is ‘Nothing’. This is a modern Rock track that has a bit of a swing rhythm. It’s a major vibe and the rap verse is dope. I would love to see a live performance of this, I am very curious about the choreography.

The last song is ‘Time Capsule’. This is a very soft, sweet track that feels like a very wholesome end to this mini-album. The vocals are very warm and it’s such a nice listen.

Overall ‘WANTED’ by CNBLUE is a great mini-album that shows their diverse strenghts. You can find the mini on Spotify here.
