The artists from H1GHR MUSIC have worked together to bless us with this full album ‘H1GHR: RED TAPE’. Let’s dive in!
H1GHR: RED TAPE
We open the album with ‘H1GHR’ by Golden and Jay Park. It’s the longer version of the promo video that was released last month. Golden and Jay Park wrote the lyrics while GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone were responsible for the composing and arrangement. This is a great way of opening this album, I have to say. I really dig the theatricality of it.
After that we get the solo Sik-K track ‘Melanin Handsome’. It’s the typical Sik-K style but it does go hard. I love the fact that they played with the rhythm which made it more dynamic.
Jay Park, pH-1, Sik-K, BIG Naughty, TRADE L, HAON and Woodie Gochild all worked on the next track ‘How we rock’. They pre-released this two weeks ago.
‘DDDD Freestyle’ is up next. I was totally vibing with the intro when they completely changed it up. Got a bit of a whiplash there, but totally worth it. Sik-K, BIG Naughty, Woodie Gochild, HAON and TRADE L are collabing on this one.
‘4eva’ follows that with the members Jay Park, pH-1, TRADE L, HAON, Sik-K and Woodie Gochild. ‘4eva’ is smooth y’all. I really like the instrumentation.
Next up is ‘Teléfono Remix’. The original version is from the pH-1 album ‘X’. The remix has TRADE L and BIG NAUGHTY on it, they weren’t on the original. To be fair, I think I still prefer the original version.
The seventh track is ‘CLOSED CASE’ by pH-1, Jay Park, TRADE L, HAON, Sik-K and Woodie Gochild. The sample they used for the instrumentation is really fun. This is probably one of my favorite tracks on the album so far.
Next up is ‘World Domination’. This one is by Jay Park, HAON, Sik-K and pH-1 and was co-produced by DAX and GRAY. The hook is really catchy!
Next up
‘The Purge’ came accompanied by a new music video. Jay Park, pH-1, BIG Naughty, Woodie Gochild, HAON, TRADE L and Sik-K all go hard in this one. I don’t know if Jay Park can actually rap that high or if it’s autotune, but even though it’s kind of hilarious, it works with the track. Also I like the fact that they play with the headphone sound. So, I recommend listening with headphones for the full effect.
We’re already at the tenth track with ‘No Rush’. Sik-K, pH-1, HAON, Jay Park and Woodie Gochild are collabing on this one.
‘Check My Bio’ is by Jay Park, Woodie Gochild, pH-1, HAON and Ourrealgoat. This is the first track that has an artist featured that isn’t under H1GHR Music. Ourrealgoat is independent. This track is fantastic! The hook is fire and I like the fact that there’s a bridge.
After that we get the pre-released ‘Dance Like Jay Park Remix’ by Ted Park, Jay Park and Parlay Pass.
The thirteenth track is ‘Team’ by Sik-K, pH-1, Woodie Gochild, TRADE L and Jay Park.
We close the album with ‘The Arrival’. This one is by Sik-K, pH-1, Woodie Gochild, HAON, TRADE L and Jay Park and is produced by GXXD. I really like this one line by Jay Park, ‘I’m training kind soldiers’. The H1GHR community has a lot of power and I’m kind of living for it.

‘RED TAPE’ by H1GHR MUSIC goes hard y’all. I think we can all agree that they have some amazing artists signed. I can’t wait for the next tape that will be released in two weeks.
