We are going back to the origins of girl groups as we know them today with today’s Time Capsule about S.E.S.
This girl group started all of the groups we know today like Twice, Red Velvet, Blackpink, etc.
S.E.S. started in 1997 under SM Entertainment. With their debut album ‘I’m your girl’ they broke records and immediately started off well. The three girls Sea, Eugene and Shoo become super stars. They were called the girl version of H.O.T. and they were active around the same time as Fin.K.L.
The group disbanded in 2002 and they left the company to pursue other interests like acting or starting solo.
A couple of years ago in 2017, they celebrated 20 years since their debut and came out with a special album. Sea, Eugene and Shoo look freaking amazing and the song is an entire bop and a half.
