XLOV is back with new music in their third mini-album, ‘i=!‘. These absolute divas have been killing it with their music, and with every comeback, their following keeps growing! Let’s dive in and see what they have prepared for us this time.

We kick off this release with ‘Cat Move’, a track that smoothly draws us in with an irresistible flow and incredible vocal delivery. The falsettos and vocal layering are fantastic, and the song only gets better as it evolves. Definitely a very strong start to this mini-album!
‘Hush’ serves as the first title track, and we absolutely LOVE the oriental influences in its instrumentals and beats. The vocal harmonies are insane, while the use of different tones feels creative and unique. The breathiness in the singing, the tension, and the incredible build-up make this track a total masterpiece, elevated even further by the stunning visuals in its music video.
Mixing things up, we get Rui and Haru in the sub-unit track ‘All Tied Up’. The two go off with deep bass and synths, creating a track that feels mysterious, dreamy, and rather alluring. Their vocal tones are a killer combination, and throughout the song, they maintain an effortlessly cool yet intriguing vibe.
The second title track, ‘Tooth Gem Chiwawa’, takes us into hyper-pop territory, leaning into dreamy vibes with an alternative and unique arrangement. This track is a whole experience, and its sound feels entirely new within XLOV’s discography. We totally dig it!
The second sub-unit brings together Wumuti and Hyun for ‘Silence’. With lovely soft harmonies and piano instrumentals, this R&B track takes us on an emotional listening journey. Wumuti’s vocal delivery and Hyun’s soft, delicate tones make for an incredible combination, and the song only gets better as it evolves. Definitely a stunning listen and a total gem in their discography!
Closing out this release are the sped-up version of the second title track and the instrumental versions of both title tracks.
XLOV has once again delivered an incredible release packed with amazing vocals, unique musicality, and a concept that only they could pull off so perfectly.
