TUNEXX is back with new music in their second mini-album, ‘BLUE MODE’! This rookie group debuted earlier this year, and we really enjoyed their debut release, so we’re excited to see what they have prepared for their very first comeback. Let’s dive right in!
BLUE MODE
‘SYNC UP’ kicks off the release on a dreamy EDM note. The beats in this single are fantastic, with a sleek progression that gets even better alongside the members’ smooth vocals. This track is trendy, fresh, and fun, making it a very strong opening song for the release.
The title track, ‘BLUE MODE’, takes over and mixes things up with a Hip-Hop/R&B sound. The vocal progression in this track is insanely smooth, featuring beautiful harmonies and effortlessly good melodic rapping. This song is a total bop and an insanely strong title track.
We switch to 90s R&B vibes with ‘ANSWER’. This single features vibey instrumentals and vocalizations that become richer as the song develops. The falsettos, harmonies, and ad-libs make for a smooth ride that only gets cooler with the laid-back rapping and flawless sectioning.
Closing out the release is ‘OVER X’, which leans more toward the pop side while staying consistent with the EP’s smoothness. The rhythmic rapping throughout the song is fantastic, while the glitchy sounds make the track even more interesting.
