The girlies from TUIDE are officially debuting with their mini-album ‘[TUNE & PLAY]’. The members Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seia, and Lee Haneui are ready for action!
We’re super curious about this release, so let’s jump right into it!
[TUNE & PLAY]
We start off with ‘ABD’. This is a cute 90s throwback with a cool combination of synths and a 90s R&B vibe. I enjoyed how the vocals were in the spotlight.
Next up we get ‘SUN KISS’ which is their title track. In the album description they write that TUIDE’s style of music is “‘Soultronic,’ which combines the emotional melodies of Soul with the sophisticated sounds of Electronic.” This is a lovely pop track with stunning vocals, and a very relaxed instrumentation.
‘Echo’ brings in the deep House and delivers with cool beats and a catchy chorus.
After that we go to ‘Flip-Flop Girl’. “it paints an image of a girl who surrenders to the flow of the world, drifting leisurely wherever her feet take her, following her own rhythm and senses.” It’s a soft and easy-going track with a cool beat progression and happy vocals.
We close off with the pre-released ‘GRLS’.
