We have a new rookie group in town, and they go by the name VAYOON. Consisting of Sen, Masato, Ayang, Jinyu, Teru, and Mano, they are making their debut under iNKODE with the EP ‘Youth Today‘. Let’s dive in and check out what they have prepared for their first release.
Youth Today
This release kicks off with ‘Super Lucky Song‘, a track that opens with hype harmonies and a funky bass line. It serves as a bright and energetic introduction to the EP, delivering a cute and uplifting vibe paired with a rhythm that totally hooked us in from the start.
The title track ‘MUAH!‘ takes over, keeping the soft atmosphere while adding EDM influences to the mix. This single stands out with its sweetness and charm, featuring a smooth and catchy flow. The members showcase both their vocal and rap skills while delivering a fun and refreshing title track. You can watch the music video below.
‘Got It‘ follows with synth-pop influences, bringing a slightly retro and incredibly smooth sound. The progression and arrangement are fantastic, while the members’ vocal performances shine throughout. We especially loved the groove and rhythm in their delivery, with the instrumentals making this track an even more enjoyable listen.
‘Watta Day‘, which was pre-released a few weeks ago, remains one of the standout tracks on the EP. Its retro-inspired and gentle sound creates a bright, summery atmosphere, while the dynamic progression keeps the track fresh and engaging throughout.
Closing the release is ‘Where My Youth Lives‘, ending the EP on an acoustic note with stunning guitar instrumentals and beautiful vocal harmonies. This track is an absolutely gorgeous listen and wraps up the release with warmth and sincerity.
