Mystic Story’s rising boy group ARrC is back with their third mini-album ‘HOPE’. Since their debut last year, they’ve been steadily crafting a sound that’s bold, expressive, and evolving. Let’s see what their latest chapter brings!
HOPE
The album kicks off with the title track ‘awesome’, a creative K-pop spin on old-school hip-hop. With playful vocals, rich ad-libs, and fluid genre switches, this track keeps listeners guessing in the best way. The music video is a total visual treat — story-driven, bursting with vivid visuals and tight choreography.
‘dawns’ follows, adding Nu Jazz, Funk, and R&B into the mix. The groove is undeniable, with layered harmonies and a dreamy, expressive progression that highlights the vocal line’s trendy tones and the rap line’s effortlessly smooth delivery.
Then comes ‘Kick back’, where drums, bass, and Latin rhythms create a lively, rhythmic base. The rap section leans into storytelling, while the vocals use delicate layering that sticks thanks to its subtle charm.
‘vitamin I’ turns experimental — with unexpected transitions, instrumental pauses, and genre fusions. The vocals and raps are woven together seamlessly, creating a track that feels progressive and completely unique.
The album closes on a high with ‘night life’, a silky blend of city pop and ‘90s R&B. With lush synths, bass grooves, and soul-drenched vocals, it’s smooth, cool, and emotionally satisfying. The rap line finishes it off with lyrical finesse.
‘HOPE’ is a standout mini-album — rich in sound, genre diversity, and vocal quality. ARrC proves once again that they are shaping a refreshing path in the boy group scene. This release? Absolutely non-skip. Make sure to check it out here.
