We’re back with a new Offstage and this time we’re taking a look at Kwon Taehoon.
Kwon Taehoon is a photographer, and director who’s worked on some stunning projects over the past couple of years.
Most recently he’s worked on the music video for Seo Jayoung’s ‘Naro’ which I absolutely fell in love with. The dreamy, clear documentary style he falls back on is just so stunning and makes us almost a participant in the video.
He also was director, editor and director of photography for the live videos ‘On the trail’ and ‘Falling Fantasy’.
He seems to have started the studio UNEXPECTED but I can’t find anything concrete on that.
In 2024 he directed ‘SeMA Omnibus : Fantasia of the Archives’ where they interview artists in their studios. The conversation seems so unbelievably gentle. It’s a wonder to watch and is well put together.
He also directed ‘Derivative Messiah : Yoo Sinae’ for the Doonsang Gallery.
