[Review] SF9 – FANTASY

The boys from SF9 are back to stun with their latest mini-album ‘FANTASY’. We’re super curious so let’s dive in!

FANTASY

We start off with the title track ‘Don’t worry, be happy’. We’re being blessed with a pop EDM track that has a lot of good vibes and killer vocals. I’m loving the rap dance break and the vocal stacking during the outro.

Next up is ‘Cruel Love’. We’re going for a dark dance pop track. The emotions are intense and it is reflected in the heavy guitars and cool rap verses. The progression of the track is well done, as is the instrumental layering. This is a very rich track that will have you listen to it several times to decipher all of the different instrumentals.

‘Just’ brings us some R&B with a rich vintage vibe to it. I really enjoyed the rap sections and the incredible vocals. Honestly I need a music video for this one because this feels like such a rich story to tell.

We’re going funky with ‘My Fantasy’. This is a song for the fandom with the members saying “Please shine forever, I will sing for you”. It’s a very fun track with a cool vibe and a lot of energy.

The closing track is ‘Melodrama’. We’re going for alternative R&B mixed with a bit of disco which creates a really cool sound that is super catchy.
