We’ve been staunch supporters of SAAY since the beginning of M.E.A.L., I’ve featured her a couple of times in my Top 3, click here to read that.
Now though, I really want to talk about her latest release ‘WINTER’ featuring Woo. Because first of all, she looks stunning. And second of all, the MV is brilliant and beautiful.
‘WINTER’ features an old hospital and it sets the tone straight away because of the grey/blue color palette. The song itself is rather sad and despite the fact that I don’t like using cliches, the term ‘hauntingly beautiful’ fits rather well. SAAY herself is always wearing opposite colors to the nurses.
I love the choreography for this one, with the nurses all dancing at the same time but with different movements, making it all about discord. That’s exactly what the song is about, discord within yourself.
