We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re featuring the lovely Rio. She’s a singer-songwriter who’s been out since 2020 and has continued to create a mellow soft indie pop meets R&B vibe for us to enjoy.

Debut
Rio is a singer who writes and composes her own music. Her debut was in 2020 with the groovy single ‘Wash Away’.
A couple of months later she came back with the single album ‘Dream No. 24’. This is such a lovely love song. The lyrics read like a poem and I really enjoy the soft repetition of the lyrics. It ties in nicely with the repetition of the piano riff. I adore this.
That was followed up by the single album ‘Fish Tank’.
Rio’s first EP came out in 2021. ‘The Young Lover’ has the title track ‘Map On Your Face’ .
For the hit series ‘Nevertheless’ she sang two of the OSTs. ‘Nevertheless’ and ‘Heavy Heart’ are both beautiful singles.
In 2021 she also came out with the single ‘Canna’.
Her most recent comeback was the single ‘BABE’.
