[Review] JUST B – JUST BEGUN

The boys from JUST B are back with their new EP ‘JUST BEGUN’. Let’s dive right in to hear their new bops.

JUST BEGUN

We start off with ‘DASH!’. This is a really cool opening track. It’s a dramatic pop rock single that will have you feel like you can overthrow governments, rage against the machine, move mountains. It’s giving a full shot of power.

After that comes the title track ‘RE=LOAD’. They carry on that vibe in ‘RE=LOAD’. The switch up of tempos and genres are insane and I’m kind of here for it. The rapping is straight up fire. I’m definitely intrigued by the last shot in the flower field. I wonder what is going to happen in the group’s story line.

‘MAKE IT NEW’ follows that up. This one is a bit more laidback which is not saying much. It’s only in certain verses that the instrumentation feels a bit softer. It’s still a straight up banger, with some sick guitars in the backing track. I love their rap verses.

Next up is ‘Don’t Go Back’ which brings us a more rock ballad vibe. This is a really interestingly built track. The sectioning flow between rock ballad, a bit of folk and pop. It’s really cool to listen to.

The closing track is ‘Lights On‘. This is definitely the softest track on the album. It’s a wholesome ballad with beautiful vocals and a super smooth layering.

‘JUST BEGUN’ by JUST B is a very solid mini-album. Go ahead and listen to it on Spotify here.
